Are you a confident person? Often people are confident in their abilities, talents, intellect, etc. It is also the case that sometimes we have no confidence in ourselves and are afraid to step up or speak out (some deal with this more than others). The good news is, we don’t have to be confident in ourselves—we don’t have to rely upon our own strength.
So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” (Heb. 13:6)
For as often as our eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. (Cor. 11:26)
Today, I am confident about the future because of what God has done in the past!
