Many problems create burdens for us and steals our freedom. Jesus is the best example when seeking how to deal with burdens & trials. Hebrews 5:8-9 says though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. When we understand Christ learned obedience through trials, we see we can overcome challenges by seeking Christ. We all deal with a multitude of problems. How can Scripture restore our soul as we seek to pursue spiritual resilience? We will answer this question beginning Wednesday, December 6 in room #205. We will spend the next 13 weeks looking at the following topics:
• Our spiritual journey
• Redemptive guilt
• Turning worry & anxiety around
• Overcoming fears
• Victory over depression
• Building self-esteem
• Conquering anger
• Overcoming dysfunctional family patterns
• Resisting sexual temptations
• Growing through grief
• Finding alternatives to suicide
• Overcoming divorce
• The Lord is my Shepherd
