We all have desired to have more in life at some point in our life. In a lighthearted way, we all have been labeled as someone who is trying to “keep up with the Joneses.” When I hear this phrase, I always sit silently and smile. Anyone who knows us, knows we have never owned a house larger than 1400 square feet and we have never owned a new vehicle. “Keeping up” with us wouldn’t be much of a challenge. We are all blessed with choices when it comes to material items & money. Scripture reminds us to be cautious with our ambition & wealth.
