Life can present challenges. Sometimes the difficulty is of our own doing, other times it is not.
However, there is a sense in which we always have a choice. By that I mean that we always have the opportunity to choose Jesus. No matter how tired, stressed, sick, etc. We can still choose Jesus.
It doesn’t matter if we are alone or in a crowd. It doesn’t matter if all the rest of our friends and family have gone “off the deep end” and turned their backs on the Lord. We can still choose Jesus.
The problem is, we most often put our trust anywhere and everywhere except in the Lord. To live a life of true joy and peace we must commit our very hearts and lives to God. To gain every desire of your heart, your heart must desire God!
Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will act. (Psalm 37:3-5)
